Daily Makeup #1 : Summer Edition

Hello Everybody!

I am starting a new series, where every Sunday I will post a daily makeup, showing which looks I have been loving to wear through the week. Throughout the coming week I will be posting a series of summer related posts to celebrate the fact that my favourite season is upon us! So to kick things of, here is my one of my favourite summery makeup looks!

So for my base, I first applied the Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Primer, which is SO light on my skin but also keeps my makeup stay put all day. Then I went in my favourite No7 Essentially Natural Foundation which gives a perfect light coverage without making my skin feel clogged up with makeup. I mixed this with my No7 Skin Illuminator which helps give my skin a beautiful glow. Concealing was with the one and only Collection Lasting Perfection, which I used underneath the eyes and then to finish I used the MUA Blush in ‘Candyfloss’ which gave me a great baby pink flush.

For the eyes I started with my No7 Stay Perfect eyeshadow in ‘Starry Lights’, which I use pretty much everyday as a base. Then I used my MUA Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Glitter ball’, using the matte pink shade all over the lids then buffing the shimmering pink into my crease to give a subtle shimmery pink look. For brows I used my No7 Eyebrow Pencil to slightly fill in the brows and also to comb them through. To finish, I used my favourite Maybelline The Falsies Mascara to give my lashes some volume.

To finish, I simply used the No7 High Shine Lip Crayon, in ‘Delicate Pink’ on the lips. This is the finished look.

This look is lovely for summer, it is very girly with lots of pinks, while also being very versatile, it can be delicate throughout the day like I wore it, or can be built up to a more intense look for the evening. Please let me know what you think, and whether you would like to continue seeing some more Daily Makeup looks!

My Morning Skincare Routine!

Hello everybody!

So today I am going to share with you my 3 step morning skincare which sets up my skin for the rest of the day! Personally, I have a combination skin, I have some dry patches but also some oiler and shinier areas. I try to keep my skincare quite basic, but here is what I do in the mornings. Oh and you can expect an evening edition next week!

No7 Beautiful Skin Foaming Cleanser:

This is a very light, gentle cleanser which I use at both morning and night, however in morning I simply use it to refresh my skin and clear any excess oil that has built up over night. I love this, in fact it is one of those products that I always have a spare of in case I tragically lose it! Plus with the famous £5 off No7 vouchers, you can purchase this for less than a fiver!

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water:

After I have cleansed, I use a quick spritz of this to refresh my skin and prep before moisturising and then makeup. Tea tree is also an antibacterial ingredient which means that this toner is another step in ensuring my skin is squeaky clean and all set for the day ahead. I love Lush because of their values, the fact that you can see where all their products come from and also that they don’t charge a fortune!

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Normal/Oily Skin

This is the final step before applying the makeup. Even though I have an oiler skin, I still believe that it is very important to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day and this product allows me to achieve that. It is very light on the skin, meaning it sinks in quickly leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. Plus this product contains an SPF, which means that my skin is also protected for the rest of the day. I LOVE THIS!

So these are my morning skincare products! What are yours?

The New Home of Fairly Fantatsic…

Hello everybody!

So as you can see, I have decided to move my blog to WordPress! I am really excited to share with you the new look, I really like it! I made the move from Blogger simply because I just didn’t like what the blog looked like with it, it looked pretty pathetic, and even though WordPress is more complicated there are so many more options!

You can still expect all the same content, beauty, fashion, etcetera etcetera and I really hope you will enjoy reading my content! But anyway that’s it for this short and sweet post, any feedback on the new look would be greatly accepted!
